The history of toys
How do you feel when the people you love hurt you? Loneliness, fear, sadness - all these feelings tear your heart apart and you stop trusting people.
That was exactly the life story of our old Japanese friend Asahi. From a young age, he worked 12 hours a day as a carpenter to be able to give everything to his only son, Ryoto. But when Ryoto turned 18, he left his father to study in Tokyo. He never returned to visit him.
Year after year passed, and Asahi learned that his son had a family, and the carpenter's grandchildren were already in school. This was the moment he had been waiting for!
Asahi took his paints and brushes and began to paint, and in his daydreams he saw his family getting back together. Without wanting to, he fell asleep and the dragon appeared to him in a dream. He said: "Don't cry for your grandchildren - it's not too late to start strong family bonds!"
As the dragon disappeared, Asahi woke up immediately. On the table he saw the design of a wooden toy. The carpenter had been working on the project all night... As soon as he was finished, someone knocked on the door.
It was his family! Asahi could hardly believe his own eyes. He immediately told them about his dream and asked them to look at the new puzzle he had made.
The children could not solve the riddles alone. Only together with the elders did they manage to open the wooden box. The family members realized that they are only strong together. In gratitude to the dragon for the wise lesson he taught them, they named the puzzle "The House of the Dragon".
